3. Registration opens on 1st August and closes on 1st September at Mid-Night. Each Contestant may register only once.
As part of the registration process, every Contestant will be required to provide information and/or cogent documents evidenced their name, email addresses, telephone number, and other personal details provided in the form. All entries will be considered incomplete and will be disqualified if they lack any or all of the following all details in the entry form, copy of photography.
4. Submissions made beyond date will be rejected. So all participates should please make their phone number and email available.
5. Forms are purely submitted at own risk and none of our sponsors and organizers of the competition will be responsible for any loss of the form. Their will not be any refund.
6. By entering the competition, all participants accept and agree to abide by these rules, terms and conditions.
7. The Screening comes before the competition heats; If you don't have youtube account, log on to www.youtube.com and register.
8. The judge's decision as to the winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. Use of own equipment other than headphones and laptops shall not be permitted. Other required equipment will be provided. You will be provided with two(2) pair of Pioneer CDJ 850 & and center mixers provided, SL3 and SL1 available.
10. The model of the CD players that will be provided is Pioneer CDJ 850, The mixer will be provided also. Sl3&Sl1 provided.
No hardware besides what is provided by the organizers is to be used.
Contestants MUST bring their own headphones and Cd's or Laptops.
11. If the stoppage is due to equipment failure that is due to the fault of the Contestant, the Contestant will be allowed to readjust the equipment and restart the set, from where the equipment broke down. The Contestant may start the set from the beginning, but the time will recommenced from where the Contestant stopped, and no extra time will be permitted in this regard.
12. All music genres are allowed.
13. Each Contestant selected will be given 15 minutes to showcase his or her ability behind the console. There will also be a ten (10) minute Q & A with the judges.
14. Pre-Mixed tracks will not be allowed. (No tempo correction / Key correction).
Contestants will be required to showcase a set that contains tracks of varying BPM by adjusting the tempo control live on the CD player.
Mash-ups will not be allowed. Acapellas are allowed.
15. The winners may be required to take part in publicity and participation in the competition is conditional upon agreement to take part in such publicity. Winners will not be entitled to any payment or other remuneration for any such publicity or otherwise. All and any materials, including publicity materials, will be the sole property of the host (Organizer)
