MMC DJ CHAMPIONSHIP 2016

The Nigeria's DJ Competition (Mix Machine Clash) season II was held in Ogun State, 2nd October, 2016 at Sky Pavilion, Oke Ilewo Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The competition kicked off with DJs from different parts of Nigeria battling on turntables to emerged as the champion at the MMC DJ Championship 2016, it eventually came down to the last 4; DJ Mondollar, DJ Sleam, DJ Indo and DJ Everblazing.

DJ Mondollar who won the MMC DJ Championship 2015, won the 2016 MMC DJ Championship.

DJ Mondollar (From Lagos) went home with a pair of pioneer CDJ 350 worth of 350,000naira and MMC award.

The 1st runner up DJ Sleam (From Lagos) went home with a pioneer SEP-C1 professional media controller

The 2nd runner up DJ Indo (From Lagos) went home with a gold pioneer headphone

The MMC DJ Championship 2016 was Judged by DJ Tee of DJ Tee films, DJ Funky Jay, DJ Larry and hosted by DJ Roland.

 We realized that some Nigeria youths, who wish to become DJs do not find avenue to develop there talent so they end up in musical competition as against their dream of becoming a DJ because they could see a well structured platforms in music but no such platform for DJs, they also notice that DJs are not well packaged and famous expect for few ones, since that is what they desire.

Dee Jay service is a big business and profession just like other aspect of the entertainment industry, even bigger because without their service there won’t be any medium for exposing talents in music. So talents need to be cultivated and nurtured in this direction.
